Happy New Year— The results of the 2008 Music Awards will be revealed on March 1st!

Not only that, we also have a visual upgrade in the works for the top navigation buttons [Update: The new nav buttons, as well as all of the other buttons on our site, are now upgraded]... and, of course, all of the continual content adds (including brand new screencaps in the Star Wars: Jedi Knight 2 - Jedi Outcast videogame review).

[First, a quick bit of news: During the past month, along with the continual content updates, we made the Rating System & FAQ page more user-friendly, did some minor visual upgrades, and also added several new site-wide features (including handy Print and 'Add This' links, and a Sitemap that provides quick access to any page).] Now, on to what's really important: Christmas!

Each year from the first of November through the end of December we Spotlight the Rockin' Christmas Picks, our special review of the best Rocking Christmas music. (It can also be viewed all year-round in our Articles section.) And we have just added a new record and a single to the list!

Update on the update— New band live show photos (and more) now posted!

Well, during the past several weeks we have updated the live show ratings, added brand new photos, and updated/added to reviews for tobyMac, Skillet, Showbread, Relient K, John Reuben, Family Force 5, Disciple, and Cornerstone Festival IL.! (Plus, we've also just recently added two whole new band pages for Eowyn and Children 18:3!)

One New Year's resolution completed— Now on to the next!

Happy New Year!

Last month (Dec. '07) we worked behind the scenes on our first-of-the-New-Year design upgrade, and now it's complete! Included in this upgrade was a reorganization of the navigation links at the top and bottom of each page, placing them in a more intuitive order; along with several other small changes.

Now we're on to the next project— the 2007 Music Awards— to be released on March 1st! Until then, enjoy the brand-new upgrades and continual adds... and we hope you have a wonderful 2008!

Well, since our last news bulletin we've added even more band photos, and updated and added more music, live show, and novel reviews... and, since it's almost Christmas time, we also put together a special gift for you: A list of the best Rocking Christmas music for your holiday enjoyment!

Updates and adds— It's festival season, so we've been busy!

During the past several months we have added Flyleaf and TVU to the Music and Bands section, and have updated several other music/band/live show reviews, including John Reuben, Skillet, Switchfoot, Thousand Foot Krutch, Family Force 5, and Disciple... and there are still more updates to come!

It's time for the First- *AND* Second- Annual Music Awards—
Plus, *TWO* new category additions!

We have a lot of news!

First, the results are in and it's time to give out the awards! Our Music Awards bring all of our reviewers together to collectively rate bands, albums, festivals, and etc. To celebrate our First Annual, 2005 edition, we didn't just review 2005's best CD's... we included those in prior years, as well! Due to the gigantic nature of this task, we ended up simultaneously working on the Second Annual, 2006 edition; and now we have released both at the same time! To get more info on our Awards and see who won, check out our Music Awards section.

Next, we have recently added two new categories! Our Websites section now includes Software: read our reviews of some great free programs. And our Music/Bands section now includes Radio Stations and TV Stations: see our reviews of some great music stations near you, both locally and streaming on the web.

ListenUpReviews.com Debuts!

ListenUpReviews.com is now up and running! We have posted some reviews in all of the categories, and we'll be updating them and adding new reviews constantly. We are also currently working on our first annual Music Awards, which are going to be huge, as for this first edition we will be awarding music that is also from previous years. (Consequently, the '05 Awards will probably take much longer to finalize than the next editions— apologies in advance. ).
